Several Days in Italy
I have never been crazy about Italy. But my last holiday I spent in Veneto by chance. But everybody who was there said that I would like the vacation. And they were right. Frankly speaking I had some problems so when came I was in bad temper. But when I was walking along the street there were street artists and musicians providing a lot of entertainment. They were so gay and sunbeam that I immediately forgot all my troubles and dived into their performance. After that I visited amphitheatre in Verona that is a different kind of art but not bad at all. Well, Italy is rich in brilliant actors and singers. Besides I sunbathed on sandy beaches, went shopping, visited cafes and restaurants in fell in love with Italian food. Italian people are so nice and hospitable. When I rented a holiday cottage in Veneto I made friends with a neighboring family. So I can say that the trip was wonderful and I would advise everybody to visit Italy, Veneto in particular.
Vacation in Czech Republic
I have just come from Czech Republic where I spent several unforgettable days together with a good friend of mine. We went there because of spa sources. There are thousands of mineral sources in Czechia that are well-known all over the world. As for me and my friend in particular, so we went to the city of Karlovy Vary. We stayed in a hotel there but in fact spent very little time. Of course, it would be much better if we found a private holiday apartment in Czechia , but we were short of time. So, we booked a room in one of Czech hotels. As we went to Czechia because of spa, so we decided to go to Karlovy Vary. This city has been the spa centre of the Czech Republic since it was founded in 1370. There are many spa centers there that offer not only water but mud treatment as well. When we came there, I expected to see a city where there were many old buildings. But in fact Karlovy Vary appeared to be a modern city that had much to offer to its guests. On the whole, I enjoyed my vacation in Czech Republic because there I not only improved my health, but tasted delicious Czech cuisine and beer and bought some nice things made of Bohemian glass.
Vacation in Liguria
I spent two unforgettable weeks in Chiavari, Liguria. I am still under impression from vacation in Liguria and the city of Chiavara, in partivular. It has so many historical sights as it was founded in the 12th century. Being in Chiavari, I tried to do as many of its sights as possible. First of all I visited Palazzo Maschio Torriglia where I saw marvelous pictures by Ligurian artists of 16-17th centuries. I also called at the church of San Giovanni Battista. There I had a chance to enjoy the paintings by Piola, Carlone, Fiasella and De Ferrari. In the day time I liked to walk along the streets of Chiavari. I especially liked the ancient "straight alley". In the 14th century it was the street where the middle class lived. Now there are many restaurants there. I liked to spend my evenings there drinking excellent Ligurian wine Sciacchetrà. Chiavari is also remarkable for its handicraft activities. I bought some macramé things as a presents for my mom and a good friend of mine.
